MARITIME INNOVATORS Participates Fully in Bluedots European Living Lab in Brussels

We are pleased to announce that MARITIME INNOVATORS joined the full two-day Bluedots European Living Lab in Brussels, held on 23–24 September 2025. The event organized by Diesis Network convened innovators, SMEs, and stakeholders to foster sustainable, digital solutions in the blue and green economy.

At this gathering, Ugurcan Acar represented MARITIME INNOVATORS, actively engaging in panel discussions, workshops, and networking sessions. Our team exchanged ideas on cross-sector collaboration, sustainable transitions, and capacity building for social economy SMEs in the maritime domain.

Highlights

  • The Bluedots agenda included roundtables on digital innovation in the blue economy, sustainability strategies, and mechanisms to support social SMEs.
  • Participants explored how to bridge marine and land-based sectors through digital tools and inclusive growth models.
  • As part of the event, MARITIME INNOVATORS joined the speed dating and introduced their work and networked with SMEs and organizations within the sector.
  • Later on, attendees made a round table discussion opportunities, challenges and solutions in the green and sectors whether there is any learning that could be passed from one another as blue and green sectors are connected
