Skills4Sea is an Erasmus+ cooperation project focused on identifying, validating, and prioritising the non-technical skills needed in the maritime sector. The project addresses the growing need for a more resilient, adaptable, and future-ready maritime workforce by examining which transversal and operationally relevant competences are most essential for seafarers and maritime education providers.

The project brings together research, stakeholder input, and sectoral experience to support a better understanding of training needs, competence gaps, and future skills demands across the maritime field. Through its methodology and engagement activities, Skills4Sea contributes to the development of more relevant, practice-oriented, and responsive maritime education and training approaches.

MARITIME INNOVATORS supports the project through dissemination, communication, stakeholder engagement, and project development activities, contributing to the visibility and long-term value of the project results.
